Membership
Believers in the New Testament clearly identified themselves with a specific local group of believers and were challenged to become committed participants.
When a regular attendee at Grace decides to become a committed participant in Christian community, it's time for that individual to take that same challenge and become a church member! It's an important spiritual step in a person's life-long discipleship journey.
We have learned that:
Everyone needs a place in which to love and be loved. Grace is a place where that can happen! Our members have a tangible sense that Grace Community is their family. |
We need each other to become all we can be. Members find that growing and maturing together is one of the truly fulfilling adventures of life. |
We need to know who we can count on. Our church "family" provides an environment where we can care for one another. |
Everyone has a need to contribute/participate. Our members are part of the team that joins in and "stacks hands" with us to flesh out our values and fulfill our mission. |
There are three steps to the membership process at Grace.
The first step is to attend Discover 101, "Discovering the Master and His Church.", the first in our four part "Grace Series." |
The second step is to meet with one of our Elders where you can ask questions and become familiar with our church. |
The third and final step is a time for church leadership to acknowledge you as a new member in a Sunday morning worship service. |
