Stewardship: Planned Giving
Planned giving refers to the process of making a charitable gift out of a donor’s assets rather than from current income. These gifts are usually deferred, meaning they are arranged now and fulfilled sometime in the future.
Estate planning refers to the process of creating a plan for managing your wealth while you are alive and distributing it after your death.
We have a number of brochures available which describe the benefits of using planned gifts in your estate planning process:
Your Guide to Basic Estate Planning
Your Guide to Making a Will
Your Guide to a Better Will
Your Guide to Outright Charitable Gifts
Your Guide to Living Trusts
One of the simplest means of making a gift is by a bequest-a gift of property or assets to a beneficiary named in a will. You can specify an outright gift of cash, securities, real estate or tangible personal property. Such a gift will make a difference and help us serve the next generation.
We appreciate your interest and continued support and would be pleased to provide you with additional infomation on the advantages of planned giving. If you would like any of the brochures listed above, please contact us at stewardship@gccaz.org.
